Welcome to Broad Ecton Farm in the Peak District National Park

We are a family run traditional farm located in a particularly beautiful, diverse and culturally rich part of the White Peak.

Ideal for walking, riding (cycle and horse) and site seeing activities, as well as being central enough to make day trips to take in all that the Peak District National Park and surrounding areas have to offer, including being only a 30 minute drive from the Alton Towers theme park.

The rare breed White Park cattle herd and Upland Swaledale sheep flock, both bred and finished for meat, on our sustainable wild flower hay meadows, make up the day to day environmental stewardship farming activities.

Our traditional farm house and stone barns are all Grade II listed, the long barn has been converted into high quality self catering accommodation with plenty of the original hay barn charm and character remaining. It comprises 2 cottages each able to sleep up to 6 people comfortably and a camping barn with excellent facilities.
